The ART and SCIENCE of Kindness is flourishing in Manitou Springs. With milestones like the Manni Awards, Beacon of Generosity Award, and successful Pay-it-Forward Experiences, our community actively models a culture of kindness and generosity every single day.

The Manitou Springs Community Foundation (MSCF) is committed to nurturing and expanding this culture. We believe the easiest path to personal fulfillment is seeing the direct, palpable effects of your contributions. To make that connection easier for every resident, we are proud to introduce the new Manitou Springs Guide to Local Philanthropy—your roadmap for investing your Time, Talent, and Treasure inside the arches.

  An Infectious Generosity Movement Community Gathering

Over 40 people attended a gathering in April 2025 to explore various ways that our community currently expressess kindness and generosity and how we might help support and expand those efforts.

The five themes emerged from the group conversations included: Cultivating connections throught art and history; support and expand health and wellbeing opportunities; promote community connections, involvement and daily acts of kindness and generosity; embrace diversity and incusivity; support and enhance our educational ecosystem.

We invite you to embrace this spirit of generosity and learn more about how you can get involved, in your own way. Whether you can spare an hour or support a local event, every little bit makes a difference. Together, let’s continue planting the seeds of kindness that will ensure our beautiful town flourishes for generations to come! Let us know of your interest.
